Despite 193 countries signing the Paris agreement, an international effort to reduce carbon emissions, many are still lagging behind. The goal was to reduce rising temperatures and prevent runaway climate change. The best way to do that is lower our carbon output. However, reports show that many nations won't meet their 2030 emissions targets, despite growing awareness of its importance to the general population.
